Coaches Scholarships

Coaching Development Scholarships:


As part of its aim of developing the technical capabilities of National Federations, the GOC has been awarding coaching development scholarships to coaches over the years.
The two most recent beneficiaries of the coaching development scholarships are  Ibrahim Issah of the Ghana Swimming Association and Taekwondo coach Martin Prince Oppan.
The GOC secured scholarships for the coaches to train abroad through the Olympic solidarity in August and September, 2013.

Swimming Coach Ibrahim Issah left the country for the international coaching course in Budapest Hungary in August, 2013.
Taekwondo coach Martin Prince Opan left for the USA on September 27, 2013 to take part in an international coaching enrichment certificate programme at the University of Delaware in Colorado Springs.
