GOC Mourns Executive Board Member, late Professor Joseph Kwesi Ogah

Some members of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) were at Cape Coast in the Central Region over the weekend to mourn and bury Professor Joseph Kwesi Ogah who is an executive member of the Committee representing the analogus groups comprising Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA), the Security Services Sports Association (SESSA) and the Ghana Education Service (GES).

The late Prof. Ogah died on October 26, 2017 at 57 years and was buried on Saturday February 17, 2018.

He was the architect of the Health and Physical Education and Recreation Department of the University of Cape Coast.

Rev. Nikoi an executive board member of the GOC and President of the Ghana Netball Association (GNAO) said the professor would be missed as he offered a lot of contributions to the Committee and Ghana Sports, especially at the tertiary level.

Theo Edzie, President of the Ghana Swimming Association (GSA) said he was a great sports man full of ideas and was sad that Ghana has lost another knowledgeable sports personality.
