GFA, the official governing body for Fencing, is responsible for promoting the sport in the country. According to the association, it has branches in five of the ten regions in the country.

The President of GFA also explained that it was mandatory for them to seek GOC membership as they already recognised by the International Fencing Federation (FIE).
