Ben Nunoo Mensah Presents Frindo Board Soccer Game To Bishop Bowers School

Ben Nunoo Mensah, president of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) and managing director of Direct Link Ltd has presented the giant Frindo Board Game he bought for Bishop Bowers School for 5,000 ghc during the launch to the headmistress, Sister Mercy Benson SSpS on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.

Present at the impressive presentation ceremony at Lartebiokorshie were the children of Ben Nunoo Mensah who are past pupils of the school, teachers and a section of the media.

The GOC president who is a believer in combining sports and education said the Frindo Board Game is a unique tool for learning and recommended parents and schools to get some for their wards.

He said games like the Frindo Board Game takes some stress from the children because they learn by having fun.

He advised the inventor of the game to market it to many homes, schools and outside Ghana as well as on social media by creating an App.

The Head Mistress of the school said she was very happy that the game came to the school during her tenure of office, and urged parents to support their children to discover their talents.

She thanked Mr. Ben Nunoo Mensah for supporting the schools in different levels and times.

Mr. John Frimpong-Manso inventor and CEO of Frindo PLC who was overjoyed with the interest displayed by the pupils promised to make the game available to more schools.

He said every parent wants the betterment of their children, so they should invest in them and know what they are doing most of the time. 

Curtis Nunoo Mensah, a son of the GOC president also presented Cricket balls, bats and whickets to the school.
