Ghana’s Flings Owusu-Agyapong who finished 7th in the penultimate heat of the women’s 60m event in the ongoing World Indoor Athletics Championships has promised to put up a better performance in her next international race.

She ran a time of 7:49 seconds; 0.31 seconds behind Tatjana Pinto of Germany, Remona Burchell of Jamaica and Ewa Swodoba of Poland who finished first, second and third respectively.

Ghana’s other representative, Sean Safo-Antwi did well to qualify for the final and also placed 7th.

Flings is one of Ghana’s finest and fastest female athletes and she would be sprinting at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
