Cynthia Kwabi Qualifies As An Umpire In International Table Tennis

International Table Tennis Star, Cynthia Kwabi aka Mrs. Cynthia Arthur has participated in the International Table Tennis Federation examination for Umpires and passed.

She therefore qualifies as an international umpire with number 20919.

Her certificate was signed by the ITTF president Thomas Weikert and chairman of the Umpires and Referees Commission Young-Sam Ma on 20 July, 2020.

Cynthia said “There is a saying that “don’t blow your own trumpet” but on a different side a trumpet needs to sound to Glorify God for His Grace, favor and Mercies upon our achievements because without Him it will never happen”.

She expressed her extremely excitement to be recognized as an international umpire in the whole wide world.

“It is indeed a dream come through,as an active and national player who has and still represents my country Ghana In diverse tournament and now a certify international table tennis umpire. The struggles and hustles are not achieved alone.On this denture,I will like to use this same medium to acknowledge some people behind my success. I thank Ghana Table Tennis Association,the executive body especially Mr Mawuko Afadzinu ,President of GTTA for giving me such opportunity to take part in the examination” she added.

She also thanked Ghana Immigration Service especially COI Ayer for the release they always grant her to take part in national and international programs, and also the International advanced Referees,Umpires and Competition Managers Mr Nabil Almamoon, Madam Genevieve Lentz, Mr Francis Frimpong for the refresher course,tutorials and training they took them during the ITTF world Juniors and Africa Juniors competition held in Ghana(Accra).

“Madam Isabelle Buemier, I appreciate the ITTF Basic umpire,referee and tournament organization courses you took us through,I really learnt a lot which prepared me well to achieve this success.

I thank my coach Mr Ebenezer Anang Whyte for starting me well with ITTF rules and regulations. I thank all my table tennis players and friends whom I started the course with and trained with by learning together as a team. I cannot close the curtains without acknowledging my Family. I thank my husband Mr Evans Arthur and my Kids for their support and luck they always give.God richly bless all of us” she expressed.
