Madam Valerie Ghajar, Ghana Country Director of Adidas has advised three budding sprinters who have been selected to join the GNPC Speedsters Club to believe in themselves and train hard to become future champions.

Speaking at the presentation of Adidas sports kits to the athletes she noted that the quality equipment would help them to perform better, after they had been nurtured and prepared.

The trio, Samuel Asare of Prempeh SHS, Edwin Gadayi aka “Phobia” of AMASS and Mary Boakye popilarly known as “Jetter” of Anglican Girls SHS who were selected after this year’s Ghana Fastest Human final held in Kumasi promised to give off their best to lift the nation high.

Ato Kobbie, a representative of GNPC said his organisation loves partnerships and being associated with the Ghana Fastest Human programme gives them the opportunity to support the youth who are doing sports.

He informed that the three newly selected sprinters who are also on educational scholarship would be handled by coach Anslem “Mourinho” Nyavedzie of AMASS.
