The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt E.S. Okraku, says his dream of making the country’s football great again is still on course but has pleaded with Ghanaians to be patient as his administration puts measures in place.

Kurt was elected GFA president in October last year, in a fiercely contested elections. However, he has been hugely criticized by some club administrators who play vital role in his victory.

Speaking in an interview with GhanaWeb’s Daniel Oduro, Kurt Okraku highlighted how passionate Ghanaians are to see their football thrive.

“Ghanaians are overly passionate about the game. We love the sport beyond my imagination. And people want the sports to be what we see on our screens” he said.

“But that journey is a long one. It needs patience; it needs people with the right mindset, energy level and mentality to be able to put the package together” he noted.

Kurt’s administration is expected to run for 4 years. He is brimming with confidence that he will be an achiever when his mandate expires.

“I believe that, 4 years down the line, everybody will be happy to look back at what we have achieved and be happy,” he concluded
