GHANA ATTENDS 39TH WORLD ARMWRESTLING CONGRESS

MAJOR DECISIONS AT THE 39TH WORLD ARMWRESTLING CONGRESS IN BUDAPEST, HUNGARY
1. APPROVAL OF THE CREATION OF STUDENTS COMMISSION - This is in line with Ghana Armwrestling Federation's Students programs with the Tertiary Institutions.

2. APPROVAL OF THE CREATION OF JUNIOR DIVISION AT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS (UNDER 16) - Young Players must be developed hence GAF's GES and Community Engagements.

3. WAF RECOGNIZES ONLY ONE MEMBER FEDERATION FROM A COUNTRY - That in relation to Armwrestling included in Paralympic sports, both Able and Para must have one National Federation within WAG COMPETITIONS.

4. PROPOSAL FOR WAF REFEREE RETIREMENT AGE PEGGED AT 60 WAS REJECTED

5. WAF AGREES TO SUPPORT DEVELOPING COUNTRIES LIKE GHANA.

6. MEMBER FEDERATION'S WHO DO NOT PROVIDE THEIR LEGAL DOCUMENTS IE REGISTRATION DOCUMENT, NOC or NSA ENDORSEMENT SHALL LOOSE VOTING RIGHTS AT CONGRESS. - Ghana duly submitted required documents hence had voting status at Congress.
